Accounts Payable Specialist (Contract-to-Hire)

$25-$35/hour

A growing healthcare organization in the Medicare and managed care space is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join its accounting team on a contract-to-hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys owning the full accounts payable process across multiple entities.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of accounts payable experience
  • Strong full-cycle AP background
  • Experience with intercompany transactions preferred
  • Proficiency with either Sage Intacct or QuickBooks
  • Intermediate Excel skills required, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Bachelor's degree required (field of study does not need to be Accounting)

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle accounts payable processing
  • Handle intercompany transactions across multiple entities
  • Maintain vendor accounts and work within various vendor portals
  • Ensure timely and accurate invoice processing and payments
  • Assist with AP reconciliations and support month-end activities
  • Work closely with the Accounting Manager and accounting team on special projects as needed

  • Compensation: $25-$35/hour
